Investigation of the alkaloidal constituents of Senecio aegyptius L. resulted in the isolation and identification of senecionine, dehydrosenkirkine and probably an isomer of seneciphylline. TLC, HPLC and GLC showed the presence of integerrimine, seneciphylline, riddelliine and retrorsine. |
