dc.description.abstract In most engineering design problems, trade offs are to be made among competing factors. This is obvious in the design of electric motors, when more than viewpoint is to be considered. In this paper the problem of induction motor design is treated as a multicriterion optimization problem with three objective functions. The preferred solutions are investigated by implementation of weighting min-max approach. en_US
