dc.description.abstract Spreadsheets are becoming increasingly popular, as a useful tool, for making process engineering calculations. This paper shows the use of spreadsheets for computations of an unsteady state process described by ordinary differential equations. The model equations are numerically solved using the fourth order Runge-Kutta method implemented on a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet implementation of this method demonstrates the possibility and usefulness of spreadsheets for their application in the simulation of dynamic processes. en_US
