Abstractيهتم هذا البحث بمشكلة صراع الأدوار لدى المرأة العاملة في دولة الإمارات في علاقتها بسمات شخصيتها، وذلك نظراً لما ترتب على خروج المرأة للعمل خارج المنزل من تعدد وتغير في هذه الأدوار وانعكاس ذلك على شخصيتها. شملت العينة (208) امرأة متزوجة عاملة بالتدريس طبق عليهن استبيان صراع الأدوار الذي أعده الباحث واختيار الشخصية لبرنرويتر وذلك بعد التحقق من الشروط السيكومترية اللازمة لاستخدامها. وعولجت البيانات إحصائياً بالتحليل العاملي للكشف عن العلاقة بين صراع الأدوار وسمات شخصية المرأة حيث أجرى التحليل العاملي بطريقة المكونات الأساسية أعقبه تدوير متعامد بالفاريمكس. ثم تدوير مائل بالأوبليمن. كما أجريت مقارنات طرفية بين من هن أقل صراعاً ومن هن أكثر صراعاً في سمات الشخصية. وقد كشفت التحليلات العاملية عن ثلاث عوامل قبل وبعد التدوير وكان أولها عاملاً قطبياً عاماً مضمونه الصحة النفسية- صراع الأدوار. كما تبين من المقارنات الطرفية وجود فروق في سمات الشخصية بين من هن أقل صراعاً إزاء الأدوار ومن هن أكثر صراعاً سيما صراع العلاقة بالزوج ورعاية الأبناء، وصراع الحاجات الشخصية للمرأة.

Alternative AbstractThe main purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of multi-roles of the working woman on her adjustment. (208) working woman as teachers form U.A.E. society answered the roles conflict questionnaire and the Bernrueter personality scale. Data analysed by factor analysis and by the comparison between the less conflict group and the high conflict group of working women in personality traits. Results indicated to a Bi-Polar factorial relationship between mental hygiene and the roles conflict, during three factors before and after the rotation of axes. On the other hand there were a clear differences in adjustment traits between the less conflict group and the high conflict group in: neuroticism, self sufficiency, introversion, dominance, and self confidence. Specially in the conflict of woman relationship with the husband and the personal needs of the working woman.
