dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study was to analyze and discuss the perceptions of kindergarten teachers regarding the importance, obstacle and availability of educational technology in kindergartens in the State of Kuwait. The hypothasises were as following : 1 ) There are no defferences between urban Kindergarten teachers and rural kindergarten teachers perceptions regarding the importance of educational technology in kindergarten in the State of Kuwait. 2 ) There are no differences between Urban kindergaten teachers and rural kindergarten teachers perceptions regarding the obstacles of using educational technology in kindergarten in the State of Kuwait. 3 ) There are no differences between urban kindergarten teachers and rural kindergarten teachers perceptions regarding the availability of educational technology equepments in kindergarten in the State of Kuwait. The method used in this study was a discreptive one. Four school districts were chosen and 200 teachers to represent the population of the study. A questionaire based on the use of the educational technology was adapted and forwarded to the pupulations. kindergarten teachers perceptions were exmined in two groups (Urban, rural). Findings from this study demonstrate that kindergarten teachers differ markedly regarding the first hypothiesis in a level of significance of .05 . Significance differences were not shown among the population's perception regarding the second and third hypothesises. Responses regarding the open question showed that teachers need to have : 1 ) Written directory to be used when needed. 2 ) More than one educational technology director in each kindergarten. 3 ) A budget for the expenses in each kindergarten. Finally, recommendation have been drawn for the future use. en_US
