Abstractقصدت هذه الدراسة الكشف عن أثر الكتابة في التحليل الصوتي عند العرب القدماء، وذلك بالتسليم بما تقره الدراسات اللسانية والسيميولوجية المعاصرة من أمر الانفصال بين اللغة والكتابة، ومن أن التحليل الصوتي ينبغي له أن ينبني على المنطوق أولاً. واتكاء على هذه العولمة راحت الدراسة تقدم نصوصاً من التراث اللغوي العربي، تفهم كيف أن الخلط بين المنطوق والمكتوب قاد الدرس اللغوي العربي إلى عثرات في التحليل الصوتي للعربية، وعليه، فإن تلك العثرات في هذا المستوى قادت، في بعض المواضع، إلى عدم وضوح في تحليل القدماء للمستويات اللغوية الأخرى، الصرفية والنحوية والدلالية وحتى الخطابية، وفق ما يزعم الدارس، ومن ثم، فإن الدراسة تحث الباحثين على تعقب الأثر الذي تتركه الكتابة على المستويات سالفة الذكر. هذا، وقد انطوت الدراسة على نتائج أخرى هامة.

Alternative AbstractThis study aims at investigating the effect of writing on phonological analysis of Arab grammarians, in the light of modern linguistic and semiotic studies, which determine the fact that the language and writing are separated systems. Considering this fact, the study provides evidences from the classical Arabic grammar showing that mixing the spoken and the written makes Arab grammarians misunderstand the Arabic phonology. This miss understanding results in problems in the levels of Phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics and discourse according to the researcher. Therefore, the study encourages the researchers to study the effect of writing on different linguistic levels. Moreover, the study contains other important results
