Alternative AbstractThe Purpose of the study was to find out the effect of six variables on the examination level of high school students in North Palestine through Al- Aqsa Intifada. These variables were : sex, specialty area, father educational level, mother educational level, birth order, and family size. The researchers developed a (34) item questionnaire in order to measure the levels of students anxiety toward the public high school examination during Al¬Aqsa Intifada. The Sample consisted of (1800) students in four educational directorates in North Palestine. To test the six hypotheses, the researchers used Percentages, Means, Standard Deviation, Independent "t" test., ANOVA and Tukey Method. The · results indicated that there was a high level of examination anxiety between students of twelfth grade (%82.8) . There were also statistical differences between students due to the sex variable in favour of female students. In addition there were statistical differences between students due to the specialty area, in favour of the scientific stream. Results also showed that there were statistical differences between students due to the family size, in favour of the large one, and there were statistical differences between students due to the father's educational level, in favour of the basic educational level, and to the mother's educational level, in favour of the illiterate, basic and secondary levels .Finally, there were statistical differences between students due to the students' birth order, in favour of the last one.
