Abstract | Potassium carbonate promoted, Ga3+ substituted hydrotalcites reported here exhibit very high, selective and reversible CO2 capture from an exhaust gas mixture. The 10% Ga3+ substitution improved the CO2 capture from 0.3 mmol to 1.2 mmol per gram, and only 4% (w/w) of the sorbent capacity was lost after three cycles. |
