| Abstract | تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى توضيح طبيعة المعرفة المعجمية وأهميتها في التمكن اللغوي، لأن غالبية الباحثين في مجال اللسانيات سواء النظرية أو التطبيقية اهتموا بالمعرفة النحوية والصرفية فقط؛ مع تهميش دور المعرفة المعجمية وجعلها في مرتبة ثانية. لكن في العقود الأخيرة بدأ الاهتمام بها من قبل مجموعة من الباحثين، وبينوا دور معرفة المفردات في تمكن المتعلم من لغته ونموها. لذا سنبين مكانة وتأثير المعجم (المفردات) في امتلاك المتعلم لكفايته اللغوية واستعمالها وطبيعة سيرورتها والمفاهيم المتصلة بها (القدرة المعجمية والكفاية المعجمية والمعجم الاستقبالي والمعجم الإنتاجي) ودور الذاكرة في اكتسابها وطرائق تدريسها. الكلمات المفاتيح: المعرفة المعجمية، القدرة المعجمية، المعجم الاستقبالي، المعجم الإنتاجي، طرائق تدريس المفردات، التمكن اللغوي. |

| Alternative Abstract | This study seeks to show the importance of lexical knowledge in language proficiency and use, because the majority of researchers in the field of linguistics, both theoretical and applied, interested in grammatical knowledge only; with the marginalization of the role of lexical knowledge and make it in a second position. But this view of inferiority will be abandoned in recent decades by the researchers, who indicated the role of lexical knowledge in learner language proficiency( second language or foreign language). Thus, we will show the role of vocabulary knowledge in the learner's language competence and use, its stages of process and related concepts (lexical ability, lexical competence, receptive and productive vocabulary), the role of memory in its acquisition and teaching methods. |
