Abstract | Serious games are widely used in training and education. They can introduce new concepts to learners smoothly. Children like to play video games regularly. They can then play games and learn in a natural manner. In order to keep the children playing for a longer time, the game should be simple and attractive. Injecting simplicity and challenges are very important features for game designers. However, the complexity of the game may render the player frustrated and nervous. In this paper, we propose a simple game to educate diabetic children about their disease and inciting them to have a healthy life style. We use the Aracde approach which is based on the repetition principal to score higher in every edition. Our experiments show that our game raised up the awareness of diabetic children and convinced them to adapt a healthy life style. |
