Archives and Special Collections

Qatar University Archives and Special Collections serve as a valuable repository for materials documenting the history and for research, preservation, and retrieval of archival materials.

They include primary and historical sources and comprise special collections of rare materials and historical documents. The Archives house a collection of oral history interviews with prominent figures who have left a significant mark on the history of Qatar.

The Archives contain different types of resources, such as the Qatar University Archive, which documents the university’s history and its academic and educational contributions; slides’ collections; historical documents; oral history interviews and other materials of historical value.

Records and publications are mostly open access while respecting copyright and intellectual property rights.
