| Abstract | يعالج هذا البحث قضية هامة من قضايا البشرية، إذ يمس القضايا الإنسانية وما أثير حولها من نظريات؛ كان على رأسها نظرية صدام الحضارات. تناولت هذه الدراسة نظرية صدام الحضارات ثم تعرضت إلى تقويمها في السياق الإسلامي، وتستهل هذه الدراسة بتمهيد يلقي الضوء، على مصطلحات البحث، والتعرف عليها، ثم تناولت الدراسة السياق التاريخي لنظرية هنتنغتون، كما قدمت آراء، المفكرين حولها، وأثرهم فيها كذا تأثرهم بها، ثم تناولت الدراسة بواعث الصدام، دور الدولة القومية، والعمل من خلال الانتقائية، والتحيز للحضارة الغربية. وجاءت الدراسة في فصلها الأخير بعمل عرض للمقاربات الفكرية الإسلامية والغربية لحوار الحضارات، ومبادرات الحوار الحضاري بين العالم الإسلامي والغربي. |

| Alternative Abstract | This research deals with an important issue of humanity; It touches on humanitarian issues and the theories that have been raised around them, on top of which was the theory of the clash of civilizations. This study dealt with the theory of the clash of civilizations and then was exposed to its evaluation in the Islamic context. The motives of the clash, and the pillars upon which the thinkers relied in their criticism of the theory, such as: reliance on religion, marginalizing the role of the nation-state, working through selectivity, and bias towards Western civilization. The study came in its last chapter by making a presentation of the Islamic and Western intellectual approaches to the dialogue of civilizations, and the civilizational dialogue initiatives between the Islamic and Western worlds. |
