    Abstract
Technology adoption and upgradation are the two required aspects for any organisation to create a niche in the marketplace. It is an undeniable fact that this venture could not be completed successfully without the active involvement of the personnel. So, there is every need to train or update the staff. Keeping the staff in the dark about the organisational developments can hinder their active participation and can slowdown the pace of development. With this intention, an exploratory case study is conducted at NPC, Namibia to know the perception and attitude of employees towards IT/IS and business strategies alignment. The case study involved various steps like review of the organisational reports, interacting with employees, data collection using questionnaires and observational studies. The output from the secondary reviews, interactions and the analysis proved that there is much discrepancy in the perception and attitude of the employees with respect to their professional profiles.
