AbstractInternet addiction (IA) is much sought after concept in the present-day human lives in which technology has emerged as a vital part. The ever-growing role of internet technology also accrues to a sizable amount of problems at societal and individual levels. The present research is a trail to model the IA and causal factors from the version of employees of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. A sample of 500 members is selected at random and are asked to provide an opinion about the modified internet addiction scale. The modified internet addiction scale is developed with the analysis is carried in two steps. The observations are made from the study regarding the non-significance of other socio-demographic factors except age and the means to overcome these kinds of hurdles are advocated. The limitations of the study along with the future research prospects are suggested accordingly.
