Abstract | Meta-Product (MP) is a new evolution of product that involves with network of services, products, people, and environment. From an industrial point of view, this evolution shifts from a material multiplication to an information generated by human actions. Meta-Products require more complex elements than generic products and need the involvement of multidisciplinary team (garment designers, sensor networks designers and application developers). Therefore, a new product development methodology that improves network collaboration is required. The main objective of this work is to propose a new methodology for the collaborative development of intelligent wearable Meta-Products. The proposed methodology contributes for a clear understanding about the steps to be used during the design and development of new Meta-Products. |
