Abstractتهدف هذه الدراسة الامبريقية - التحليلية إلى معرفة الصور النمطية التي يعرضها التلفزيون للأطفال الإناث في برامج الأطفال. وقد تم اختيار مسلسل اجتماعي عربي لهذه الغاية، يتألف من (66‏) حلقة نموذجا لهذه البرامج وهو "بيت الأطفال". ومن أجل الوقوف على طبيعة الصور التي يعرضها هذا المسلسل تم تصميم جدول ترميز يشتمل على عدة صور تمثل الجوانب النفسية والاجتماعية والفكرية والسلوكية لشخصية الأطفال الإناث. وفي هذا الصدد توصلت الدراسة إلى تحديد الصور النمطية الأكثر تكرارا للإناث كما جاءت في هذا المسلسل، وهي صور سلبية، ومشوهة، و اختزالية. واتضح أيضا أن مضامين هذه الصور الثقافية والاجتماعية تتوافق مع اتجاهات النظام الاجتماعي نحو الاناث في المجتمع العربي. ‏كما توصلت الدراسة أيضا إلى تحديد الصور النمطية التي عرضها التلفزيون للأطفال الذكور. إذ كانت هذه الصور مختلفة تماما في مضامينها ودلالاتها عن تلك التي عرضها التلفزيون للأطفال الإناث. وأما الصور النمطية الأكثر تكرارا للإناث في هذا المسلسل فقد كانت: الحنان، والتردد، والتعاطف مع الآخرين، والاذعان والتعاون والاحساس بالواجب، والانتظامية والهدوء و الصبر ثم الامتثال للدور الجنساني المتمثل بالأعمال المنزلية.

Alternative AbstractThis study aims to examine the images and stereotypes of female children as depicted in children's tele\ ision programs. For such purpose the study chose a social series namely: "The kids House", as an example of these programs to analyle its content. In order to identify the images in this series the study designed a coding schedule consisting of different expected images which the series may present for female children. Special concern and attention \\ere given to the images which reflect the emotional. socJal, intellectual and beha\ ioral aspects of their personalities. The findings show that the series has stereotyped the female children negatively. Such images were destorative and reductionists. At the same time it stereotyped the male children positively and fa\ orably. The most ob\ ious and frequent images of female children as presented in the series were: the emotional, the unsure. the empathy, the dutiful. the cooperath e. the patient, the methodical. the calm and the submissh e.
