AbstractThe paper focuses on controlling a distributed parameter cracking process using state and error feedback regulators. The principal aim is to accomplish tracking of a desired output while effectively managing disturbances that arise from a distributed parameter exosystem. A stabilizing regulator with state feedback is developed to drive the process output towards the reference trajectory. Another goal is to construct a dynamic controller that takes the tracking error as manipulated variable, for which it is proven that the feedback controlled system is exponentially stable and that the error gradually approaches zero over time. The achievement of the algorithm is presented via numerical simulations.
