Towards an electronic voting system for the state of Qatar

Abstract

In this paper we propose an electronic voting system for the state of Qatar. The system allows Qataris people to vote online from their preferred locations, (homes or offices) without the need to move physically to the polling stations. The used algorithms ensure the security of the votes and the anonymity of the voters. A simulation of the system using four computers machine is being tested and evaluated before the real use of the system.
