| Abstract | تحاول هذه المقالة استكشاف بعض الأسس الإدراكية والأبعاد الدلالية التي تكشف عنها هندسةُ التمثيل اللغوي الصوتي، ومدى إسهامها في تمثيل عالم التجربة وإدراك الوجود والواقع في بعض نماذج من شعر أمل دنقل. وفي الإطار النظري ثمة إيجاز مركَّز لآفاق هذا التصور ومقولاته في الفكر الإنساني بدءاً من الفلسفة الرواقية، وصولاً إلى ما يسمى ـــــ في أدبيات المعرفة الحديثة ـــــ بـ(الرمزية الصوتية في المقاربة الإدراكية) حيث يقوم أحد أسس المعالجة على أن "بعض الملامح الصوتيمية (= الفونولوجية) ترتبط مباشرة ببعض المتغيرات الدلالية والإدراكية cognitive". وعلى ضوء هذا الأساس المعرفي فإننا نعالج ما نسميه بـ(شعرية الاشتقاق) عند أمل دنقل في محاولة لمقاربة بعض المقولات التي أُطلِقت في وصف هذه الشعرية، وكذلك للوصول إلى العلة الكامنة وراء شيوع هذا الوقع الإدراكي الذي أحدثته شعرية أمل دنقل لدى شعراء ونقاد كبار. |

| Alternative Abstract | The relationship between the sound of a word and its meaning, or what we may call (sound-meaning mappings), has long been proposed to be critically important for language evolution, or for its epistemological status. This article tries to investigate the cognitive dimensions and semantic features which are evoked by the perceived qualities of the linguistic sounds in their concentrations at varying frequencies or modulations. In Cognitive linguistics, sound symbolism is dealt with according to the perspective that some phonological features are correlated dirictly with some semantic and cognitive variables. Some of poetic texts of the Egyptian poet (Amal Dunqul), and some of his critical writings, are put in the light of this investigation. In our discussion of what we have called his (etymological poetics) we have mentioned to sound symbolism roots in ancient philosophy, and we have examined its significance and effects in the cognitive reactions of some prominent literary figures in their approaches to Dunqul`s poetry.
