| Abstract | يتناول البحث ظاهرة النزعة الاستهلاكية في الحياة المعاصرة، من خلال تسليط الضوء على أهم أسبابها ومجالاتها ومخاطرها، كما ويؤكد على اهتمام الإسلام بالمال باعتباره واحداً من مقاصد الشريعة الضرورية لإقامة الحياة، وضمان استقرار الإنسان فيها، وحرص الشريعة وتشجيعها على العمل والانتاج باعتبارهما وسيلة لتحصيل المال واكتسابه وتوظيفه في خدمة الإنسانية، وسعيها إلى محاربة الإسراف والتبذير والتحذير منهما. وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى ضرورة توظيف مقاصد الشريعة في حفظ المال تحصيلاً وإنفاقاً في مواجهة هذه الظاهرة والحد من تفاقمها في حياة الأفراد والمجتمعات، وذلك من خلال تأصيلها لمعايير السلوك الاستهلاكي، وإبرازها لأهم سماته وقواعده التي تتوافق ومقاصد الوجود الإنساني. |

| Alternative Abstract | The present study investigates the phenomenon of consumerism in the modern times, in terms of causes, aspects and disadvantages. On the other hand, light is shed on Islam’s concern for wealth as a major objective of Sharia in a bid to maintain man’s life and stability, bearing in mind Sharia’s promotion of work and production as ways to gain wealth as well as combat of extravagance both on lawful and unlawful matters (israaf & tabtheer). It is concluded that it is necessary to employ Sharia’s objective of keeping wealth, in terms of collection and spending, to counter consumerism. Consumer behaviour standards need to be duly set in accordance with the human existence objectives |
