AbstractThis chapter discusses the common types of medications associated with medication-related osteonecrosis of jaw (MRONJ) including bisphosphates, monoclonal antibodies and anti-angiogenic agents. Risk assessment of patients, pre-treatment prevention and management principles of MRONJ in general dental practice settings are outlined. The readers are signposted to useful online resources on the prevention and management of MRONJ along with resources which may be used for patient education.
