AbstractThis study presents a straightforward method for synthesizing FeR3ROR4R nanoparticles (FeR3ROR4RNPs) with an average size of 38.05 nm using the co-precipitation technique. The synthesized nanoparticles were thoroughly characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). FeR3ROR4RNPs were then employed as nanocatalysts to degrade Methylene Blue (MB) in aqueous solutions through a Photo Fenton-like process. Under ambient solar light and low temperatures, the photocatalytic performance of FeR3ROR4RNPs was optimized by evaluating key experimental parameters. Optimal conditions for MB degradation were determined to be pH 3, HR2ROR2R concentration of 0.5 M, dye concentration of 40 mg/L, and 40 mg of FeR3ROR4RNPs. Under these conditions, the process achieved an impressive removal efficiency of over 86%. These findings highlight FeR3ROR4RNPs as efficient nanocatalysts for the sustainable and eco-friendly removal of organic pollutants from water and wastewater.
