| Abstract | تدور فكرة البحث حول دراسة دور أثناسيوس الرسولي" في تطور العقائد المسيحية، حيث تعد هذه الشخصية أحد أبرز الشخصيات المؤثرة في التاريخ المسيحي، وهو من عمل على صياغة قانون الإيمان النيقاوي، الذي تقر به معظم الكنائس الكبرى، وتعتبره أساسا لعقيدتها. ويهدف هذا البحث إلى فهم أصول الديانة المسيحية، من خلال تتبع تطور العقائد المسيحية بدء بعصر الآباء الرسوليين، حتى مجمع نيقية (325م) وما بعده، كما يسلط الضوء على الظروف التاريخية لعصر الكنيسة الأولى، خاصة في القرنين الثالث والرابع الميلادي؛ المعرفة تأثير تلك الحقبة على تطور العقائد المسيحية، وذلك بالاستعانة بالمنهج التاريخي، والوصفي، والتحليلي، والمقارن. وقد توصلت الباحثة إلى جملة من النتائج، أبرزها أثر أثناسيوس الرسولي في تثبيت الإيمان النيقاوي الأرثوذكسي، من خلال دفاعه عن "مساواة الأب للابن"؛ مما أثر في تحديد العقيدة الأرثودكسية حتى اليوم، بالإضافة إلى دور أثناسيوس في تثبيت وترسيخ الموروث الرسولي المعروف بالتقليد الكنسي، ومساهمة المجامع الكنسية الأولى في حسم الخلافات اللاهوتية آنذاك. وتؤكد الباحثة على أهمية علم الآباء في فهم أصول الديانة المسيحية، كما توصي بإثراء المكتبة العربية الإسلامية بدراسات عربية لأشهر الآباء المؤثرين في تشكل العقائد المسيحية. |

He played a pivotal role in formulating the Nicene Creed, which is recognized by most major churches and considered a foundational basis for their doctrine. The aim of this research is to explore the origins of Christianity by tracing the evolution of Christian doctrines from the era of the Apostolic Fathers up to and beyond the Council of Nicaea (325 AD). Additionally, it highlights the historical context of the early Church, particularly during the third and fourth centuries AD, to examine how that period influenced the formation of Christian doctrines. The study adopts historical, descriptive, analytical, and comparative methodologies . The researcher identifies several key findings, most notably Athanasius’ crucial role in establishing Nicene Orthodox faith through his defense of “The Father and the son are equal in essence”. His efforts significantly shaped Orthodox theology as it is known today. Furthermore, the research discusses Athanasius’ vital role in preserving the Apostolic heritage, known as ecclesiastical tradition, as well as the contributions of the early Church councils in resolving theological disputes of the time . The researcher underscores the importance of Patristic Studies in understanding the foundations of Christianity and recommends enriching the Arab-Islamic library with Arabic studies on the most influential Church Fathers who contributed to shaping Christian. |
