| Abstract | تناولت الدراسة عرض مكانة المرأة بالشواهد التاريخية لوضع المرأة المسيحية، والمرأة في الإسلام بالإضافة إلى ذلك، يسلط البحث الضوء على فكر ومنظور مراد هوفمان مقارنة بين المرأة الغربية والمرأة في الإسلام في فكر مراد هوفمان و من خلال التجربة الإيمانية والإنسانية التي عاشها هوفمان في العالم الإسلامي، والتي مثلت أحد الدروب التي قادته للإسلام، ويهدف البحث لتفنيد الادعاءات الغربية للصورة النمطية الخاطئة عن المرأة في الإسلام ، وإبراز فكر أحد المفكرين الكبار من خلال مؤلفاته، وإبراز وضع ودور المرأة في الإسلام، والتعرف على فكر ومنظور مراد هوفمان عن المرأة في المسيحية والإسلام. اعتمد البحث على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في وصف وتحليل التشريعات الخاصة بالمرأة ومكانتها في الغرب، والنصوص القرآنية والأحاديث النبوية والشواهد التاريخية التي تؤكد على مكانة المرأة في الإسلام، واعتمد على المنهج المقارن من خلال المقارنة بين مكانة ومنزلة وحقوق المرأة في المسيحية والإسلام من خلال تحليل رؤيته ومنظور مراد هوفمان. وتوصلت الرسالة إلى عدد من النتائج وأبرزها دعوة هوفمان إلى تبني نموذج متوازن يجمع بين القيم الإسلامية والحقوق المكتسبة للمرأة، وإعادة تقييم شامل لكيفية فهمنا للاحتياجات الأساسية للمرأة في مختلف الثقافات، ويوصي البحث بضرورة تحتاجها المجتمعات الغربية إلى مراجعة القوانين والتشريعات التي تتعلق بحقوق المرأة، مع إعطاء الأولوية للقوانين التي تدعم وتعزز مكانتها وتمكنها من الاندماج الفعّال في الواقع الاجتماعي والاقتصادي. |

| Alternative Abstract | This study presents the status of women with historical evidence of the situation of Christian women and women in Islam. Additionally, the research highlights the thought and perspective of Murad Hofmann, comparing Western women with women in Islam in his thought, through the faith and human experience Hofmann lived in the Islamic world, which represented one of the paths that led him to Islam. This research aims to disprove Western misconceptions about women in Islam, emphasize the thought of a prominent thinker through his writings, exhibit the significance and position of women in Islam, and identify Murad Hofmann's thoughts and perspectives on women in both Christianity and Islam . The research relied on the descriptive analytical method in describing and analyzing the legislation related to women and their status in the West, and the Quranic texts, prophetic hadiths, and historical evidence that confirm the status of women in Islam. The comparative method was utilized to compare women's status, position, and rights in Christianity and Islam, while analyzing Murad Hofmann's vision and perspective. The thesis reached a number of results, most notably, Hofmann's call to adopt a balanced model that combines Islamic values and the acquired rights of women, and a comprehensive reassessment of how we understand the basic needs of women in different cultures. Western societies are advised to review laws and legislation related to women's rights, prioritizing laws that support and enhance their status and enable them to integrate effectively into the social and economic reality, as recommended by the research. |
