    Abstract
Blockchain technology has transformed the financial industry by offering decentralized, secure, and transparent systems for managing transactions and digital assets. However, its widespread adoption introduces significant risks, including security vulnerabilities, regulatory uncertainties, scalability challenges, and operational inefficiencies. Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers promising solutions for identifying and mitigating these risks through predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and smart contract verification. This paper conducts a systematic literature review to analyze the intersection of blockchain risks and AI applications in the financial sector. By reviewing peer-reviewed studies from 2015 to 2025, the research identifies key risks, explores AI-driven solutions, and highlights gaps in existing literature. The findings contribute to understanding AI's potential in enhancing blockchain resilience and propose directions for future research to address unexamined challenges.
