AbstractBinary interaction parameters are routinely developed to improve the accuracy of equation of state estimations for binary mixtures. For a given data set, the numerical value of the vapor-liquid equilibrium constant varies with the kind of equilibrium calculation used for the evaluation. For the same experimental data, a constant temperature bubble point calculation and a constant pressure bubble point calculation will not yield exactly the same value for the vapor-liquid equilibrium constant, K.
