| Abstract | هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة أثر ورش تكنولوجيا التعليم والتقويم التي تعقدها جامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا الأردنية في رفع مستو ى الأداء المهني لأعضاء هينة التدريس فيها. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (330) عضو هيئة تدريس للعام الجامعي 97/1998 م موزعين على كليات الجامعة، منهم (231) اشتركوا في الفعاليات التدريبية لورش تكنولوجيا التعليم والتقويم، و (99) لم يشتركوا. قام الباحثون بتطوير استبانة لفحص مستوى تحسن الأداء للذين اشتركوا بالفعاليات التدريبية للورش، وتم تحليل استجابات أعضاء هيئة التدريس وقد أشارت النتائج إلى: أسهمت الورش في رفع مستوى الأداء المهني لأعضاء هينة التدريس الذين اشتركوا فيها. وإن تفاوت سنوات الخدمة في التدريس والرتب الأكاديمية لا يؤثر في مدى إفادة أعضاء هيئة التدريس المشاركين في الورش. هناك مجموعة من الاحتياجات لدى أسماء هيئة التدريس الذين اشتركوا في هذه الورش يمكن الاعتماد عليها في توجيهها مستقبلا. ومن أهم التوصيات ضرورة التوسع في هذه الورش في ضوء مسح لاحتياجات أعضاء هينة التدريس في مختلف أقسام وكليات الجامعة. |

| Alternative Abstract | The main objective of the current study is to investigate the role of the educational technology and evaluation workshops in promoting the professional performance of teaching staff members at Jordan University of Science and technology. The subjects of the study consist of (330) university faculty members in the Academic year 9711998. Only (231) members of them participated in these workshops. A questionnaire was developed by the researchers to examine the performance improvement for those who participated in these workshops. The responses have been subjected to analysis by using the proper statistical means, and the results indicated that: (1) Educational technology and evaluation workshops helped in the promotion of professional performance of the teaching staff members who participated in them. (2) The differences in experience and academic ranks had no effect on performance of the participants. (3) There are some training needs among the participants, which can be used to direct such workshops in the future. The researchers recommend that: - The current educational technology and evaluation workshops should be expended in the light of general survey for the needs of the faculty members at the university. |
