Abstract | This paper talks about the process of developing a game called 'Virtual Reality Falconry'. The game is a simulation of the traditional Qatari hunting sport. Falconry refers to the process of hunting wild preys in their natural environment, by using falcons. It has a great significance among the Qatari society. Thus, the importance of having such games is critical with all the rapid growth of the gaming industry. This paper will discuss the problems faced during development, the proposed solutions, trade-offs and solutions chosen at the end. It will also give ideas about the future work that can be done to expand the game. |
