    Abstract
In this research work, L-L converter (primary member of XY converter family) is proposed and discussed in detail for fuel cell based Vehicular Power Train (FC VPT) and DC auxiliary loads. In normally, that the voltage of fuel cells is low; series and parallel combination of fuel cells is not a workable methodology to accomplish high voltage and current for real time applications. Consequently, DC to DC power converters with high voltage step-up capability play a very important role for fuel cell technology for low to high voltage conversion. Newly proposed L-L converter is presented and has high voltage conversion ratio with small number of reactive components and devices; also a superior choice for FC VPT. The characteristics waveform, CCM and DCM operation modes and mathematical analysis of L-L converter is discussed in details. Furthermore, L-L converter is compared with classical and recently designed power converters to highlight the benefits of the L-L converter. Complete Simulation and few experimental investigation is done and achieve result are discussed which proves the mathematical analysis and functionality. ? 2018 IEEE.
