AbstractTo improve energy building performance, many strategies are adopted such as demand response, data analytics and optimization. However, building with less energy consumption suggests the degradation of the occupant comfort. In this paper, a novel multi-zone multi-objective optimization approach is proposed. A compromised solution between minimizing energy consumption and maximizing occupant comfort is found at each time step during typical summer and winter days of investigation. Results show that an average of 11.16% of energy conservation during the year can be achieved. 2019 IEEE.
