| Abstract | يستكشف هذا المقال خصوصية مفهوم النقد في بلاغة الجمهور، مقارنة بحقول معرفية نقدية راسخة مثل التحليل الناقد للخطاب. ينقسم المقال إلى جزأين؛ يبلور أولهما خصائص النقد في بلاغة الجمهور، ويحددها في ثلاثٍ، هي (1) جمعه بين مكونين أحدهما معرفي والآخر أدائي، (2) اتخاذه شكل الاستجابة البليغة، (3) كونه فضيلة مقوِّمة لتشوهات التواصل. يستند هذا التحديد لخصائص النقد في بلاغة الجمهور إلى الجذور اللغوية للكلمة في أصلها العربي واللاتيني معًا؛ للبرهنة على أن ممارسة النقد كانت تعني إنجاز أفعال مادية ملموسة، علاوة على الإفادة من مفاهيم فلسفية معاصرة للنقد، لا سيما مفهوم فوكو للنقد بوصفه فضيلةَ مقاومةِ الطاعة العمياء، ودمجهما مع مفهوم الاستجابة البليغة. يستكشف الجزء الثاني من المقال موقع بلاغة الجمهور من حزمة العلوم النقدية عند هابرماس، منطلقًا من نقد تقسيم هابرماس للمعارف إلى طبيعية وتأويلية ونقدية، مقترحًا وقوع بلاغة الجمهور في منطقة تقاطع المعارف الثلاث، وصولًا إلى فحص خصوصيات الممارسة النقدية في بلاغة الجمهور مقارنة بالتحليل الناقد للخطاب. ويحددها في ثلاث، هي: (1) هوية النقد الذي تمارسه بلاغة الجمهور، (2) مدونة النقد، (3) غايته، وجمهوره. |

| Alternative Abstract | This article explores the concept of critique in the Rhetoric of Audience (RA) in comparison to well-established critical disciplines such as Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA). The article is divided into two parts; the first identifies three characteristics of critique in RA: (1) it combines knowledge and action; (2) it takes the form of a rhetorical response, (3) It is a virtue of resisting communication distortions. These characteristics are based on recalling the linguistic meanings of the term Critique and benefit from contemporary philosophical concepts of criticism, particularly Foucault's concept of criticism as the virtue of resisting blind obedience. The second part of the article explores the position of RA in Habermas’s critical knowledge classification. It reviews Habermas’s classification of knowledge into natural, hermeneutic, and critical, proposing that AR falls in an undefined intersection of the three categories. It concludes by examining the peculiarities of critique practice in AR compared to CDA that include the concept of practiced critique, its corpus, purpose, and target audiences. |
