Abstract | Cardiometabolic disorders are a range of health conditions such as diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular diseases that are a major concern for global health. These disorders affect millions of people and are a leading cause of morbidity and mortality. As of 2021, an estimated 463 million people worldwide have diabetes, with the number expected to rise to 700 million by 2045. Obesity affects over 650 million adults globally, significantly increasing the risk of cardiometabolic complications. Cardiovascular diseases remain the leading cause of death worldwide, accounting for nearly 18 million deaths annually. These staggering statistics emphasize the urgent need for effective prevention, diagnosis, and treatment strategies to address the growing burden of cardiometabolic disorders on healthcare systems and societies worldwide. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in managing cardiometabolic disorders has the potential to transform prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, ultimately leading to better patient outcomes |
