A decision support system based on ranking methods

Abstract

The complexity of decision making in industrial and economic fields is a phenomenon that has become difficult to surmount. This makes the decision maker feel powerless in front of unpredictable, non understandable and chaotic problems. The search for good solutions (strategies, policies, etc.) in relationship with timely and continuous events has led to the development of knowledge-based decision making (Kb/DSS). Kb/DSS is a computer-aided decision making methodology. Decision making embodies techniques based on innovative concepts capable of responding positively to the queries of organizations. The main objective of our work is the realization of an expert decision support system, essentially, aimed at financial investment. This system reives interactively on decision algorithms powered by ELECTEE methodology.
