Abstract | Since 2003 the International Conference on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) has brought together researchers, developers and users of Product Lifecycle Management. It aims to integrate business approaches to the collaborative creation, management and dissemination of product and process data throughout the extended enterprises that create, manufacture and operate engineered products and systems. The conference aims to involve all stakeholders of the wide concept of PLM, hoping to shape the future of this field and advance the science and practice of enterprise development. PLM 2023 was hosted by Polytechnique Montréal, Canada, from July 9th to July 12th, 2023. The conference started on Monday, July 10th, the industrial day was held on Tuesday, July 11th and the doctoral day was a success on Sunday, July 9th. The leading organizer was Prof. Christophe Danjou. For its 20th anniversary, PLM 2023 registered 132 participants from 16 countries who had the chance to attend two Special Sessions (Digital engineering, and Artificial intelligence in support of digital transformation), an overall set of 20 scientific sessions plus one industrial day and an amazing social program to celebrate this anniversary. In addition, PLM 2023 proposed Academic Keynotes, a PLM Pioneer presentation, Industrial Keynotes and round tables. |
