| Abstract | تقيس هذه الورقة توجهات الروائيين الخليجيين نحو استخدام الذكاء الاصطناعي، باستخدام نموذج قبول التقنية TAM، المعتمِد على (١) متغير الألفة التقنية العامة والتخصصية، المعبرة عن تصور سهولة الاستخدام، والاستخدام الفعلي، واستخدام التقنيات المتخصصة بالسرد الروائي، و(٢) متغير الفوائد المتصورة من الاستخدام في الكتابة الإبداعية. كما تضيف الدراسة إلى النموذج الأصلي (٣) متغير توقع تأثير الذكاء الاصطناعي في مستقبل التأليف الروائي. تستخدم الورقة مقياس ليكرت خماسي الترتيب؛ لتقدير قوة التوجهات نحو المتغيرات المستقلة. وتخلص الورقة إلى أن الروائيين الخليجيين يميلون إلى استخدام الذكاء الاصطناعي في المهام المساندة للتأليف الروائي، كالبحث عن المعلومات والتدقيق اللغوي والترجمة، وأن ألفة الشباب للتقنية ومعرفة فوائد استعمالها أعلى من كبار السن. ويثبت البحث وجود مشاعر مختلطة لدي الروائيين، بشأن أثر الذكاء الاصطناعي على مستقبل المهنة. توصي الورقة بالقيام بدراسات دورية لما يواجهه الروائيون الخليجيون من تحديات، أو ما يتوفر لهم من فرص، والاعتماد في ذلك على نماذج نظرية أكثر عمقاً. إضافةً إلى العمل على تطوير البنية التحتية القانونية والمؤسسية الخاصة بمسائل الكتابة الآلية للنصوص الإبداعية. |

| Alternative Abstract | This paper measures the attitudes of GCC novelists, toward using artificial intelligence, by applying the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) based on different variables. The first variable includes the general & specialized technological familiarities, such as ease of use, actual use, and knowledge of special AI creative content tools. The second variable is the perceived necessity and usefulness of use for creative writing. The study also adds to the original model a variable that measures the expectations of artificial intelligence’s impact on the future of fiction authorship. The paper uses Likert’s five-point scales to estimate the strength of attitudes toward these independent variables. The paper concludes that Gulf novelists tend to use artificial intelligence in auxiliary tasks related to novel writing, such as information research, linguistic proofreading, and translation, and that young people’s familiarity with technology and awareness of its benefits are higher than those of older generations. The research confirms that novelists harbor mixed feelings regarding AI’s impact on the profession’s future. Finally, the paper recommends conducting periodic studies on the challenges faced by Gulf novelists and the opportunities available to them, relying on more in-depth theoretical models. Additionally, it emphasizes the need to develop legal and institutional infrastructure addressing issues related to machine-generated creative texts. |
