السمات الشخصية لطلبة كلية التربية بجامعة الكويت وعلاقتها ببعض المتغيرات الأكاديمية

| Abstract | يهدف هذا البحث إلى التعرف على بعض السمات الشخصية لدى عينة من طلبة وطالبات كلية التربية بجامعة الكويت وعلاقة هذه السمات ببعض المتغيرات الأكاديمية مثل التخصص والفرقة الدراسية والمعدل العام ومعدل التخصص. وبعد تطبيق اختبار الشخصية العاملي على عينة مكونة من (382) طالبا وطالبة، توصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية: 1- أن من أبرز سمات الشخصية لدى طلاب وطالبات كلية التربية هي التوسط في الذكاء، والاعتدال في الانفعال، والسيطرة على الذات، والتمسك بالقيم الاجتماعية، والاعتماد علي الآخرين. 2- وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين الطلاب والطالبات في سمة الذكاء العام وفي سمة القدرة على الضبط الذاتي، وفي سمة الواقعية- الشاعرية، وفي سمة الانخفاض في المعنويات، وفي سمة الدهاء، وكذلك في سمة القدرة على اتخاذ القرارات. 3- عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين طلبة السنة الأولى وطلبة السنة النهائية في جميع سمات الشخصية عدا سمة الواقعية- الشاعرية. 4- عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين طلبة برنامج رياض أطفال وابتدائي وطلبة برنامج متوسط وثانوي في جميع سمات الشخصية عدا سمة السذاجة- الدهاء. 5- عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين طلبة مجموعة المعدل العام المنخفض وطلبة مجموعة المعدل العام المتوسط وطلبة مجموعه المعدل العام المرتفع في جميع سمات الشخصية. 6- وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين طلبة مجموعة معدل التخصص المنخفض وطلبة مجموعة معدل التخصص المتوسط والمرتفع راجعة إلى سمة الذكاء العام فقط. وقد خرج الباحث بمجموعة من التوصيات على ضوء النتائج التي توصل إليها الباحث. |

| Alternative Abstract | The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between certain personality traits of the students at the College of Education and specific academic variables such as: major, level of education, GPA, and SPA. The Factorial Personality Test was administered to a sample of 382 students of both sexes. The following results were obtained: 1. The salient traits of the subjects consisted of average intelligence, moderate emotionality, self-control, adherence to social values, and a reliance on others. 2. There were statistically significant differences between males and females in areas of general intelligence, self-control, the reality-fantasy trait, the level of mortality, shrewdness, and ability to make decisions. 3. There were no significant differences between freshmen and senior students in any of the personality traits except the reality-fantasy trait. 4. There were no significant differences between students from the kindergarten through primary school programs and those of the intermediate through secondary school programs in any of the personality traits except in the naiveness-shrewdness trait. 5. There were no significant trait differences between students with a low GPA and those with a medium or high GPA. 6. There were statistically significant differences between students with a low SPA and those with a medium or high SPA in the general intelligence trait only. A number of implications and recommendations were made on the basis of the results attained from this study. |
