Abstract | In many aspects the past decade has proved the rapid development of water based and oil based nanofluids science. Number of research is conducted to estimate the behavior of these fluids in the different thermal equipments. However, nanofluid viscosity deserves much attention during the application of nanofluids. The existing experimental result about the viscosity of nanofluids shows clearly that the viscosity augmented accordingly with an increase of additive concentration and decreased with the temperature rise. In this paper, different characteristics of viscosity of nanofluids are compiled and the viscosities of Al2O3-water nanofluids are estimated by Matlab approximation. |
