| Abstract | توضِّح هذه الورقة مساهمة ابن خاتمةَ الأنصاري الأندلسي (1324-1369م) المعرفية في تأسيس نظرية في العدوى على مبدأ السببية الطبيعية Natural Causality Principle عند مقاربته للمرض الوافد «الطاعون» Plague الذي ظهر في الأندلس عام 1348م، وذلك في رسالته «تحصيل غرض القاصد في تفصيل المرض الوافد»، فقد أسَّس ابنُ خاتمةَ، بطريقة معرفية، لهذه النظرية عندما بحث – نظريًا – عن الأسباب الطبيعية الحقيقية المسببة للمرض، وطرق انتشاره، وسُبل علاجه، والوقاية منه، الأمر الذي جعله يستخلص نتيجةً تؤكِّد أنَّ المنهج العلميَّ المستند على الملاحظة السريرية والتجربة، هو القادر وَحدَه على تجاوُز الأزمات الصحية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية، التي تحدث جَرَّاء انتشار الأمراض الوبائية الوافدة وانتقالها بالعدوى بين البلاد والأفراد، وأنَّ مهمة المجتمع العلمي هي توعية عموم الناس بالممارسات العلمية الصحيحة، وهي نتيجة تجاوزت تراثًا كبيرًا من التفسيرات التي أرجعت أسباب مرض الطاعون، وطرق انتشاره بين الناس والبلاد إلى أسباب غير علمية. |

| Alternative Abstract | This paper clarifies the scientific contribution of Ibn Khātima Al-Anṣārī (c.1324-c.1369) in establishing a theory of contagion on the Natural Causality Principle. It is noteworthy that Ibn Khātima gave more attention to the Plague that appeared in Al-Andalus during 1348 A.D. His scientific approach in his main work is titled “The Attainment of the Goal of the Seeker for Information concerning the Epidemic” (Taḥṣīl gharaḍ al-qāṣid fī-tafṣīl al-maraḍ al wāfid) may be considered as an important work reflecting his contagion theory. He explored the causes and types of Plague and methods of treatments according to the meaning of the word "scientific" that we used in our recent days. According to Ibn Khātima, the Plague moves from one country to another, and among people by contagion, therefore, he constructed a contagion theory in terms of scientific approaches bases on natural causality principle. |
