| Abstract | الأمم المتحدة: مؤسسة دولية، نشأت بعد الحرب العالمية الثانية؛ لتحقيق الأمن الدولي بالطرق السلمية، والتي منها الحوار عوضا عن الصراع ومصطلح حوار الحضارات"، ظهر فكريا على يد الفيلسوف النمساوي هانس كوشلر عام 1972 واعتمد في منظمة الأمم المتحدة عام كان له وجود معنوي في ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، إلا أن وجوده اللفظي ظهر في المنظمة عام 1998 وبدأت قوة تعزيزه عالميًا عام 2001 وذلك لأهميته الدولية البالغة في تحقيق العيش السلمي، وتبادل المنافع المشتركة بين الحضارات سعت الأمم المتحدة في العقود الأخيرة لتفعيله بصور شتى، وجهود عدة، نجحت في بعضها وأخفقت في بعضها ؛ فما برح أهل الاختصاص بالعلوم السياسية والقانون الدولي والعلاقات الدولية والحوار الحضاري يطرحون مقترحات إصلاحية لبقاء هذه المنظمة، وسيرها بشكل صحيح |

| Alternative Abstract | The United Nations is an international institution that was established after World War II in order to support international security in peaceful ways that use dialogue over conflict. The "Dialogue of Civilizations" was ideologically known by the Austrian philosopher Hans Köchler in 1972, then was morally in the United Nations Charter. However, its verbal first presence within the institution was in 1998, and it was enhanced and spread globally in 2001, due to its importance toward peaceful living and benefit exchange between civilizations. The United Nations has done lots of efforts to activate it in several ways which partially succeeded and slightly didn’t. There have been a lot criticism and proposals to the institution by experts in political science, international law, international relations, and dialogue of civilization studies for the survival of the institution and reforming its functioning |
