| Abstract | هذه الدراسة تؤكد على أن القرآن الكريم يجب أن يُفَسَّرَ بعضه ببعض، وَأن تُعْرَف المعاني الكلية التي أرادها في جميع آياته؛ وقد بَيَّنْتُ فيها مفهوم المعنى، وأن معاني القرآن الكريم منها ما هو كلي وما هو جزئي يُسْتَعَانُ به على إدراك الكلي، وأن المعاني الكلية هي الأجدر بالعناية، ثم بينت أن إدراك المعاني الكلية يتحقق بتنزيل المدني والمكي على بعضهما في الفهم، وبالإفادة من أسباب النزول، وباعتبار القراءات المتفق على قبولها في بيان تنوع المعنى، وباغتنام دلالة السياق، ثم باعتماد علم المناسبات. |

| Alternative Abstract | This research examines the intertextual interpretation of the Quran. It emphasizes the approach that it ought to be understood from within. The underlying thematic concepts of the Quran ought to be observed in the Quran as one unit. It explains the concept of "meaning.” It also verifies that the "meanings" of Quran can be categorized into “kulli” or total and “juz'i” (partial), which can be beneficial in perceiving the total meanings. The paper confirms that the total meanings should be given a priority of attention. In fact, the comprehension of the "total" can be achieved through the understanding of Quranic exegesis techniques such as the knowledge of what is Makki “revealed in Makkah” and Madani “revealed in Madina”, the reasons for revelation, variation in successive readings, the indication of context and the utilization of the discipline of munasabat, i.e. relationship between the verses. |
