AbstractCancerCare Manitoba (CCMB) is a specialized healthcare organization in Manitoba, Canada that is designated to provide diagnosis, remedial and palliative care services to cancer patients not only from Manitoba, but also from other provinces in Canada. This paper aims to study the current and future challenges of the patients' journey at CCMB. The study follows a lean approach to analyse the patients' journey and identify the contribution of various entities of CCMB. For each entity, the main focus is on CCMB relations to address the internal and external transitions. The final output is the generic themes of CCMB issues as well as a roadmap of continuous improvement projects. Since many of these themes are not unique to CCMB, the study proves to be useful for various healthcare organizations.
