الملخص | This study explores how university students in Qatar view and engage in civic activities, examining the opportunities and challenges they face. Through a survey of 400 undergraduates, the research reveals gender-based differences in civic engagement, with women more involved in activities like volunteering and raising awareness, while men participate more in voting and donating money. Academic performance correlates with higher engagement levels, but parental education and pre-university backgrounds show limited impact. Barriers like time constraints are common across all students. The findings suggest that targeted strategies are needed to enhance civic engagement among university students in diverse contexts |
