قياس مقروئية كتاب الكائنات الحية والبيئة المقرر على طلبة المرحلة الثانوية بدولة البحرين

| Abstract | هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى قياس مقروئية كتاب الكائنات الحية و البيئة المقرر على طلبة المرحلة الثانوية بدولة البحرين، وتحديد أثر جنس الطلبة في درجة المقروئية، وكذلك تعرف ترتيب النصوص حسب درجة مقروئيتها في الكتاب. تم تصميم خمسة اختبارات من نوع اختبارات التتمة (Cloze test) من موضوعات مختلفة في الكتاب المقرر لقياس مقروئية الكتاب موضع الدراسة. ووزعت الاختبارات على عينة عشوائية مكونة من 325 طالبا و طالبة موزعين على أربع مدارس ثانوية من مناطق مختلفة بدولة البحرين. وكشفت نتائج الدراسة أن غالبية أداء الطلبة عينة الدراسة في اختبارات التتمة يقع في المستوى الإحباطي، و حوالي ربع العينة في المستوى التعليمي، ونسبة قليلة كان أداؤها في المستوى المستقل. كما تبين وجود فرق ذي دلالة إحصائية بين درجة مقروئية النصوص القرائية تبعا لاختلاف الجنس لصالح الإناث. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أيضا أن النصوص القرائية في الكتاب ليست متدرجة وفق درجة مقروئيتها. وفى ضوء تلك النتائج، أوصت الدراسة بالأخذ بمستوى مقروئية الكتاب المدرسي كأحد المعايير ذات الأهمية للحكم على صلاحية الكتاب. |

| Alternative Abstract | This study investigated the measurement of readability level of organisms and environment Textbooks determinate for secondary school in the state of Bahrain. The study was aimed to: 1- determinate whether there is any statistical significance in the readability degree of reading passage according to gender factored. 2- determinate whether the reading passage in the textbook graded according to their readability degrees of or not. A total of 325 male and female students from different secondary schools in Bahrain were measured their readability on five doze tests, which were prepared from different selected reading passage. The results of the study show that 1- the reading passage of organisms and environment textbooks determinate for secondary school in the state of Bahrain were found at the frustration readability level. There were significance differences in reading degree of reading passage accounted for gender factor 2- The reading passage in the organisms and environment textbooks were not graded according to their readability degree. |
