| Abstract | هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن الأخطاء المفاهيمية لدى طالبات الصف الأول الثانوي في مادة الأحياء بوحدة تصنيف الكائنات الحية- مملكة الحيوان، باستخدام طريقة جديدة تدعى بـ "شبكة التواصل البنائية" تكون مجتمع الدراسة من 1654 طالبة من طالبات الصف الأول الثانوي المسجلات في العام الأكاديمي 2001/ 2002 في قطاع ولاية السيب بمحافظة مسقط. أما عينة الدراسة فبلغت 98 طالبة من إحدى مدارس ذلك القطاع، تم اختيارهن بطريقة عشوائية. وكانت الأداة التي استخدمت في الدراسة عبارة عن أسئلة شبكة، مكونة من ثلاث شبكات، بواقع (8) أسئلة لكل شبكة، وقد تم التحقق من صدق الأداة، بعرضها على مجموعة من المتخصصين في تدريس الأحياء أما ثبات الأداة فقد تم التأكد منه باستخدام معادلة كرونباخ ألفا للاتساق الداخلي، وقد أعطت قيمة مقدارها (82. 0)؛ مما يعد مؤشرا على أنه يمكن الاطمئنان لاستخدام الأداة لغرض الدراسة، ولتعرف الأخطاء المفاهيمية. وللإجابة على سؤالي الدراسة تم استخدام التكرارات والنسبة المئوية، لكل بديل من البدائل المعطاة في الشبكة. وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة شيوع عدد من الأخطاء المفاهيمية، لدى الطالبات في وحدة تصنيع الكائنات الحية، (مملكة الحيوان)، مما يعني أن بعض الطالبات يحملن تصورات غير صحيحة، وفهما خاطئا للمفاهيم الأحيائية المعطاة لهن، وأن معلمات مادة الأحياء لا يتبعن استراتيجيات التدريس المناسبة لتصحيح تلك الأخطاء. وقد أوصت الدراسة بضرورة اتباع طرق وأساليب تساعد المعلمات على الكشف المبكر عن الأخطاء المفاهيمية لدى الطالبات، كما أوصت بضرورة اتباع طرق التدريس التي تعمل على تصحيح تلك الأخطاء، والمفاهيم البديلة لديهن مثل دورة التعليم، و المقابلة وخرائط المفاهيم. |

| Alternative Abstract | The aim of the study was to identify first secondary pupils' misconceptions in biology using new method, which is called Structural Communication Grid. The population of the study consisted of 1654 first secondary female pupils who were registered in the 2001/2002 academic year in Al- Seeb Area of the Governor of Muscat. The sample of the study consisted of (98) first secondary female pupils who were selected randomly from one secondary school. The research tool was a test made of grid questions. The test consisted of three grids and each grid contained (8) questions. The validity of the test was checked by asking some experts in teaching biology to make their comments and suggestions. The reliability of the test was calculated by using Cronbach Alpha for internal consistency, which gave the value of (0.82). To answer the two research questions, the frequency and the percentage of each option was calculated. The results of the study showed that pupils had misconceptions in some biology concepts of the Classifications of the Living Things - Animal Kingdom. In the light of the above results, couple of recommendations and suggestions was proposed such as using the appropriate methods of correcting the misconceptions. Furthermore, teacher should use different methods of identifying the misconceptions pupils have such as structural communication grids, interview, concept mapping. |
