مقروئية كتاب الرياضيات للصف الخامس الأساسي في الأردن

| الملخص | هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى البحث في مقروئية كتاب الرياضيات للصف الخامس الأساسي في الأردن وذلك بسبب أهمية مستوى صعوبة اللغة في الكتب الدراسية. وقد استخدم الباحثان اختبار الكلوز بمستويات ثلاثة كمقياس لتحديد مستوى المقروئية، حيث كان المستوى C1 يمثل اختبارا لنص محدد من وحدة الهندسة حذفت فيه كل خامس كلمة بينما حذفت كل سابع كلمة في المستوى C2 وكل تاسع كلمة في المستوى C3. واشتملت عينة الدراسة على 139 طالبا وطالبة من طلبة الصف الخامس الأساسي في مديرية تربية بنى كنانة- محافظة اربد في الأردن خص العام الدراسي 1999/ 2000 وكان منهم 78 طالبا و 61 طالبة. وقد تقدم جميع أفراد عينة الدراسة لاختبار الكلوي بمستوياته الثلاثة C3، C2، C1 وتمت دراسة أثر الجنس في تحصيل الطلبة. وأشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن مستو ى المقروئية لجميع مستويات اختبار الكلوز كان متدنيا بشكل عام وأن مستو ى المقروئية يزداد كلما قل عدد الكلمات المحذوفة في السؤال. وأشارت النتائج كذلك إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة α=0.01 لصالح الإناث على جميع مستويات اختبار الكلوز. ويقترح الباحثان فجر أن دراسات أخرى للبحث في مقروئية كتب الرياضيات للصفوف الأخرى ودراسة العوامل المؤثر ة فيها. |

| الملخص البديل | The purpose of this study was to investigate the readability of the fifth grade mathematics textbook in Jordan. The questions of the study were: What is the level of the readability of fifth grade math textbook in Jordan? Are there any significant differences in the students' achievement on the Cloze Test due to the level of the test itself? Are there any significant differences in the students' achievement on the Cloze Test between the males and females? The sample of the study consisted of 78 males and 61 females in the fifth grade in primary level schools in Northern Jordan during the academic year 1999/2000. The researchers used the Cloze Test in three levels (Cl ,C2, C3) to measure the level of the readability of the textbook. C 1, C2, C3 were three tests each one based on one of the lessons in Geometry that consisted items and sentences with omitting every fifth word, every seventh word, and every ninth word in Cl, C2, C3, respectively. The results of the study concluded that the level of the readability was very low in general and it increases when the number of the omitting words decreases. They also concluded that there were significant differences between the males and females in the students' achievement in the test itself. |
