| Abstract | يهدف هذا البحث إلى التعرف على آراء موجهي المواد الاجتماعية نحو تضمين القضايا الجدلية في مناهج المواد الاجتماعية في التعليم العام لدولة الكويت وقد تحددت أسئلة الدراسة في مدى اتفاق آراء العينة على تحديد القضايا الجدلية وما أهمها لتضمينها في المواد الاجتماعية وفي أية مرحلة، ثم ما أسباب عدم تضمينها في المناهج. وحاولت الدراسة إلي إيجاد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الذكور والإناث في تحديد القضايا الجدلية وغير الجدلية ثم تأثير متغيرات الدراسة مثل التخصص والخبرة أو المنطقة التعليمية وعدد الدورات والمرحلة التعليمية في تحديد القضايا الجدلية وغير الجدلية. هذا وقد أسفرت الدراسة عن:- - أن القضايا الجدلية جميعها مهمة خاصة قضايا حقوق الانسان والبيئة. - أهمية القضايا الجدلية في مناهج مراحل التعلم العام. - أن هنأك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية فيما يتفق بمتغيرات الدراسة نحو جدلية القضايا وأهميتها وأسباب عدم تضمينها وترتيبها. |

| Alternative Abstract | The main goal of this study is to know the supervisors Opinions toward enhancing controversial issues in the social studies curriculum in the schools of Kuwait. The research sample included 36 supervisors, 23 of them are males and, 13 females. The research intends to answer the following questions: 1- What are the differences among the sample concerning the issues as controversial or non - controversial? 2- which of the controversial issues that should be enhanced in the three level of schooling? 3- what are the reasons of not including the controversial issues in the curriculum? The study's results are: - The sample agreed that all the controversial issues that were agreed upon should be in the curriculum. - According to the study result's, there are statistic differences of about 0.05/> and 0.01 > concerning the sex, experience, training, school level, school location. Due to these results, the researcher has given some recommendation, which will improve the social studies curriculum in the State of Kuwait. |
