Alternative Abstract | This study aimed at investigating the effect of concept mapping "Vee" shape achievement and acquiring science processes female students at the faculty of education of Ibri in the sultanate of Oman. It was conducted on (54) Female students divided in two equal groups: Experimental and control group. The number of students in each group was a (27) student. The results of this research has revealed the following: 1-There are positive correlation between using concept mapping Wee" shape and achievement. 2-The students who studied experimental physics at the laboratory and using the concept mapping "Vee" shape were able to analyze educational situation events and synthesize new scientific concepts and principles. 3-Concept mapping Wee" shape has the following benefits for those who learned this method. a -A questioning this skill of building and organizing the concepts in hierarical chain shape in terms of highest and lowest comprehension . b-The acquisition of meaningful learning regarding Bloom s Taxonomy level : comprehension, application , analysis, synthesis and evaluation. c- Developing in a better way the scientific processes skills such as observing . 4- There is no significant difference between using concept mapping "Vee" shape and the ordinary method regarding physics lab skills such as: measuring, classification and predicting. |
