AbstractThe past decades have demonstrated the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and market potentials of bioactive compounds extracted from marine organisms. These marine bioactive compounds possess unique chemical structures and exhibit a wide range of biological activities, warranting further investigations into their clinical application prospects for treating human diseases. Furthermore, their valorization has yielded environmental initiatives aimed at safeguarding the biodiversity of the marine ecosystem while supporting sustainable, environmentally friendly marine resource extraction.
