Collineations Of Polar Spaces

Abstract

In this paper we consider general embeddable polar spaces with Witt index at least three. If TT : S( \) —> S( ^) be a thick collineation between polar spaces with i( ^) =i( fe) 9 3. Then there exists a place 0 : k—> k' U °° with valuation ring A = 0i (k'), an A- module M in V with Mk = V and a 0-scmilinear mapping B: M —> V such that v (X) = B (MOX) K' for all points X in S (^).
