    Possible impact of e-commerce strategies on the utilisation of e-commerce in Nigeria

    Abstract
    The unmet need for technology spread in Nigeria has been purporting efficient planning and implementation of strategies in order to increase the spread of e-commerce. The present study is such a venture to know the extent of the impact of e-commerce strategies that have been implemented in Nigeria to promote e-commerce utilisation. Unlike the previous studies, this study is concerned about the opinion of the e-commerce operators' along with that of customers'. This is a primary data-based study, which collected the opinion of customers as well as operators about the impact of e-commerce strategies on the level of e-commerce utilisation. The study tool questionnaire is designed and sent to 225 customers through Google link and among them 200 questionnaires are completely filled and returned. But the operators are contacted directly for data collection, as they are less in number (ten members). The results revealed interesting outcome of customer and operator collected data and suggested the policy makers to design policies or plans to address the raising needs of the e-commerce customers.
